To some, our Chiavari Cushions and Custom Cushions may feel harder than some other foam out there, but this is actually a good thing!!
Most cushions made by other companies use a lower-density foam which is also often made with impurities. The impurities make for a shorter-lasting cushion because it breaks down faster and a lower-density foam, while softer, will not stand up as well over time.
Our foam is designed to last a long time because we use a more pure, high-density foam. The foam will feel harder when you first receive it, but it will actually soften after a week or so of use. We call this the “break-in period”.
